Q & A with Celebrity Stylist Kim Kimble

Kim Kimble is one of the top Celebrity Hairstylists in the industry with an amazing clientele. She’s worked with Beyonce, Rihanna, Iggy Azalea, Mary J. Blige and my special favorite Miss Piggy. She has two salons, launching her second location in Hollywood, California.

During this time she created her Kimble Haircare Line. This multicultural line tackles the needs of textured hair. Her last line, “Bounce Back Curl” made its debut in Sally’s Beauty Supply stores earlier this year. This line is specifically for the curly girls:) The line includes the Bounce Back Curl Conditioner, Shampoo, Liquid Curl Enhancer, Curl Cream and Revitalizer. Each product has a paragon-free formula with added agents to fight frizz.

I had the pleasure of being a part of the Blogger and Social Media panel.
The panelists included myself and 8 other ladies with a variety of knowledge about natural hair, fashion and blogging.

The discussion covered how we all went natural, how to be a blogger and defining natural hair.

Solange Knowles talks Hair critics and breaking up with Carols Daughter’s

In a recent interview with Lurve Magazine, Solange chats it up about parting ways with Carol’s Daughters and commentary over her hair.

She reveals “I’m actually no longer a part of Carol’s Daughter, but throughout my entire time working with them, I was constantly fighting for the right message to be heard.  The message that, the way we wear our hair is a personal choice, there’s no right or wrong way; one way doesn’t make us more intelligent, or more superficial, and every one makes that choice for very different reasons.”

It’s no secret that Solo has her thoughts on being viewed as a “natural hair” representative.  Earlier this year she took to twitter to explain she is not a “natural hair vice president.” Also add that she hates twist outs and doesn’t sleep with a satin cap.

    We hear you Solange!
